Real property is property, acreage, and landナ all tangible and real. Any improvements made by man or machine to this land such as erecting buildings, fashioning machines, or finding new property rights are also considered real property. There are several other terms for real property, such as real estate, and realty. The United States is one of the countries where real property can be personally owned, including both land and appurtenances. Real property includes anything that is permanently on the land as well, such as homes and other structures along with trees, minerals, and rocks. Real property is said to be the type of property that is called immovable property, as it hopefully will not be going anywhere. The terms real property and real estate are able to get away with being used primarily in common law cases. Civil law jurisdictions generally will be speaking of immovable property.
