Taxation Attorney

A taxation attorney handles legal cases surrounding tax code. Their specific job entails helping clients to manage tax debt and tax obligations. These attorneys work at the individual level as well as at the business level. They may help to clarify tax law or to help determine the legal ramifications that a business or individual may be facing due to their tax circumstances. In many cases, taxation attorneys handle tax reduction, which is the reduction of tax debts and penalties owed to a tax body due to nonpayment over a period. These professionals may work between the individual or business and the Internal Revenue Service to reduce these debts.
